It was Halloween this day. This year, the ward mayor of Shibuya officialy stated "Please do not gather in Shibuya for halloween" and it may've let some of the usual Shibuya crowd flow into Kabukicho, so there were just an incredibly crowded anyway.

But in case of Kabukicho, there're often people dressing outfits like cosplay on a regular basis, so it was challenging to determine whether it's cosplay or just their normal attire, escpecially when it comes to Japanese indivisuals. Also, there're people doing face paintings even it's not Halloween.

I'd taken some photos of this place couple times when it was under construction, but it may be for the first time to take photos properly after it's open.

I found someone wearing a mask of Anonymous while walking. There were people wearing various masks all over the city anyway. By the way, though I didn't take a photo, actually this person removed the mask right after this and revealing his real face.

Even on the streets around here where I usually take photos, there were people in costumes here and there. Especially the touting girls working as hostesses for bars had some sort of costume on, like a little Halloween touch.

These were people dressing in costumes like this all over the city. Maybe they're famous characters that I just don't know? Well, I don't usually see them, so it must be because of Halloween.

There's Mario and Luigi behind.

A scenery of Kabukicho late night that totally never touches Halloween, fully same to usual. Hmm, I feel like the Shibuya-style Halloween scene doesn't quite suit the atmosphere of Kabukicho as a city. By the way, TŌYOKO was so crowded that I couldn't even take photos. It resembled the typical scene from Shibuya during Halloween usual years. I should've taken photos as a record, but personally I just didn't feel like it.

Yep, because the kind of scenery I'm looking for in this city is more like this.

Well, I'd seen tons of cosplay, but no matter Santa Claus is too early, right? But I don't dislike these slightly offbeat ideas. So that's why I took this photo though. Well, the next day to go to Kabukicho is the day of Godzilla!!

See you then.
