One day at Kabukicho #DAY65 - A raining night, and after the rain stops.
Unfortunately it was raining on this day. When it rains, it's getting much tougher to take photos than usual. But there're surely photos can be taken only on rainy day. In easily understandable terms, it would be the light reflecting on a wet surface and people walking with transparent umbrellas.
This is next to the ward office. It may be first time to take photo here. Actually it's much roaming around this area recently. But I haven't found what kind of photo to take around here yet.
It's a really clear signboard, isn't it? I guess this kind of signboard is beneficial in this area, especially because there are many foreign tourists around.
I get to feel the urge to take a photo when I see someone with a fashion style that I think it's nice. She's fashionable, isn't she?
By the way, the dinner this night was sushi. It seems that lately the sushi restaurant staff have completely recognized me. Anyway, it's not bad. And since I usually order similar items, they have also started remembering my orders. And it depends on restaurants, it does feel like more than half of the customers in the restaurants in Kabukicho at night are foreign tourists.
The usual back alley. The sky absolutely cannot be seen from here. Instead of that, what I can see is the tangle of power lines crisscrossing in all directions.
Due to the unfortunate rain, even the street touts standing on the streets seemed to be experiencing a downturn in their business. It must be tough for them to have to stand out in the rain and continue their work. I will never ever be a customer myself, but I cheer for them.
This is after the rain stopped. However, it started raining sooner again.
I can't really focus on taking photos on rainy days, after all. However, it's also true that rainy days is one of expressions of the city, so there's no choice not to take photos even because it's raining. Simply, there may be only the way for me to get used to take photos on rainy days. Anyway, I dislike rain after all.
See you then.
