My loving computer of old days #2 - iMac DV
Theme of second article of this series "My loving computer of old days" is about iMac DV which I bought when I was first grade of high school, the first ever Macintosh of my own.
このシリーズ『My loving computer of old days』の2本目のテーマは高校1年の時に買った初めての Macintosh、iMac DV について。
The first ever Macintosh of my own.
I've been being a super Mac freak for more than 20 years. And the first ever Macintosh for me like that is this, iMac DV. At those days, I used this iMac DV at home, and I used VAIO C1R which I introduced on the previous article of this series when going out. What slityly interesting for me is, I used both of Windows computer and Macintosh computer at theoe days. I don't use Windows computer nowadays except using Windows on virtual machine for testing purpose.
自分はもう20年以上ガチの Mac ユーザー。そんな自分にとって初めての Macintosh がこの iMac DV。この頃は家ではこの iMac DV、外出する時はこのシリーズの前回の記事で紹介した VAIO C1R を使っていた。ちょっと興味深いのはこの頃は Windows と Mac の両方を使っていたってこと。今となっちゃテストのために仮想マシンで使う以外は Windows は使っていない。
MacOS 9
I got so much affected from the classic MacOS. What easy to understand that is the OSnine. You'll obviously notice that reflected directly through looking the UI of the OSnine.
Classic MacOS からはすごい影響を受けた。一番わかりやすいのが OSnine。OSnine の UI を見ればそれがそのまま反映されているってのはすぐわかるよね。
Mac OS X
I used UNIX as a system of my local computer for the first time ever is also on the iMac DV. Before that, my experience using UNIX was only via telnet.
ローカルで初めて UNIX を使ったのも iMac DV でだった。それまでは telnet でしか UNIX にアクセスしたことがなかった。
