One day@Kabukicho #DAY164 - Not to take something with aiming, just take photos of things I encounter.
On the weekend night. I took quite a few photos for the first time in a while. Or rather, I had taken quite a few photos without even noticing. I don't usually wander around large area of the city, but on this day I walked around a fairly large area from around the Toho Building to the Ward Office Street.
At the TŌYOKO. Boys sitting on the street, smoking cigarettes and chatting loudly while playing music at full volume on a speaker they brought along.
In this neighborhood, I often see boys and girls who are truly "sick". Rather the boys smoking cigarettes, playing music on a speaker, seems somewhat wholesome in a way.
I was wandering around Sakura Street, moved a bit from where I was. Although only a few streets away, I never see any the "sick" boys and girls around here unlike the TŌYOKO. However, I don't mention the reasons much, but actually, I take care of something when taking photos around here.
When I take photos in this city, surprisingly I enjoy taking photos of people who are working. This kind of apron looks pretty cool, doesn't it?
I came back around the Toho Building area again. I feel like I've taken a photo like this here before, but is it just my imagination or something? I also like occasionally looking up when walking.
Once again, behind the Toho Building. It's almost the same spot where I took the third photo of this article. I was really walking around the city in circles on this day. I actually don't remember the route I walked in, but I'm tracing the route by looking at the photos in chronological order.
Next, I came all the way to the usual batting cage. In Kabukicho, we can see food trucks in various places. There was another food truck at the signal-free intersection nearby on this day. That one was a food truck selling Takoyaki which can be seen there quite often.
I didn't used to take many photos of taxis in the past, but recently I feel like I often take photos of them when I see. But I'm not particularly interested in taxis as a mode of transportation, I do enjoy taking photos of the scenes of people getting in and out, as well as the view from the outside. I like this photo taken recently for instance.
There was a person sitting next to a motorbike along the Ward Office Street by the batting cage. I just thought it would make a nice picture so I took it... Actually, I was here for a while, taking photos of the various people coming and going.
I also took a photo of the food truck earlier from the side. Kitchen equipments which can be seen in professional kitchens such these are cool. Though I'd never thought so when I worked at a pizza shop before.
The time when this photo was taken was just about the time for the last train. I wonder if this trio is going home straight? The back view of them looked like they were having fun, so I ended up taking a photo as soon as I realized. I returned to the parking lot just after taking this photo and went straight home. Anyway... it was a hot night.
See you then.
