One day at Kabukicho #DAY76 - I took the Leica Q out for shooting after a long time.
It's a delightful food sample and gentle light. On this day, I took out the Leica Q as a secondary camera after a long time. Lately, the latest model, Leica Q3, has been making headlines again. As a result, the combination of the usual Leica M-P and Leica Q was unbeatable.
It had been a while since I used the Leica Q to take outside... And I can't even remember the last time I used it together with the Leica M. It's impressive that the lens of the Q captures images so crisply like this.
This one is also capturing the scene very crisply. I also use the RX100III recently, but the Q's viewfinder is much easier to use after all. Especially when switching between the Leica M, there's hardly any discomfort when looking through the viewfinder. Well, to begin with, the size itself of the bodies is completely different.
And compared to the lens of the Leica Q, I found that all the lenses I use with the Leica M have a smooth and creamy feeling when taking photos. I love all of them, I really do, but personally I'm more drawn to the smooth and creamy feeling.
By the way, on this day, I went to a somen noodle restaurant called "Ito". Ito means strings. Somen is delicious, but broccoli and bacon salad is also incredibly tasty with a generous portion. My friend loves that salad, and after sharing it with me, I also got to love it.
This back view is cool, isn't it?!
This parking lot here is located in a complex narrow alley. I wonder if anyone actually parks their car here? It always gives me an impression of a place where people gather to smoke.
When I get all sweaty during a photoshoot and want to cool off, I secretly sneak into the air-conditioned arcade nearby.
I persevered until there was nobody left to capture the stairs and an escalator because I really wanted to take a photo of them. It may seem plain, but personally I really like this kind of artwork.
Roppongi and Kabukicho have a lot of foreign tourists even in the same downtown. Perhaps it's the Japanese taste of these areas that attracts tourists, I often find people to take photos with their cameras. There're also a lot of restaurants where there are hardly any Japanese customers. On the other hand, I don't have that sort of impression for Shibuya even though it's also a downtown.
Actually, I hung out with the friend in Kabukicho until morning, watched videos together, and even worked on this day. Thanks to it being a day off the next day, it was fine, but as soon as I got back home, I immediately slept in until the afternoon. When I got back, it was already completely bright outside. Anyway, it's good because it was fun.
See you then.
