One day at Kabukicho #DAY115 - TsuruTonTan closes earlier on Sunday night, so.
On Sunday night, Kabukicho's TsuruTonTan which usually opens until morning, closes at 23pm. But I had sushi dinner with my friend on the last time I visited Kabukicho, so we wanted to have noodles this time. So we went to a somen noodle restaurant called "Ito" which we sometimes go. By the way, "Ito" means strings in Japanese.
日曜の夜は普段は朝まで営業している歌舞伎町のつるとんたんが23時に閉店する。けど前回歌舞伎町に行った時はお寿司を食べていたから今回は麺類を食べたかった。ってことで今回はたまに行く素麺屋さんの『糸』に行ってきた。
At the parking lot that was expanded its space after the abandoned hotel was demolished. The wall of an adjacent building, which was hidden by the abandoned hotel before, is now visible. It's a nice-looking wall and I haven't been able to see it all this time.
廃ホテルが解体されてスペースが拡張された例の駐車場にて。今までは廃ホテルに隠れていて見えなかった隣のビルの壁。いい感じの壁なのに、こんなにいいものが今まで見れなかったなんて。
I've always wanted to try this restaurant if I have the chance. It's right along a street with full glass windows, so we can see inside from the outside and it has a really nice atmosphere.
ここのお店、機会があればいつか入ってみたいと思ってるんだよなー。通り沿いが全面ガラスで外から中が見えるんだけど、すごい雰囲気がいい感じなんだよ。
There are plenty of host clubs and bars, but there are also quite a few restaurants around this street, that could be why it's not unusual to see bikes or motorbikes with Uber Eats bags. There was also another one across the street from where I took this photo.
この辺はホストクラブとかバーも多いんだけどごはん屋さんも結構あるせいか、やたらと Uber Eats のバッグを乗せた自転車やらバイクやらを見かける。この写真を撮った場所の道を挟んだ向こう側にも一台いたし。
This is a hair salon which opens until morning, so I've been wanting to go for a long time. My hair has grown so much that I really want to get my hair cut right now, but I might not have the time this month due to my schedule of work, so I guess I can't go.
ここ、朝までやっている美容室だからずーっと行ってみたいって思っているんだよね。本当は今すぐにでも切りたいくらいに髪の毛が伸びているんだけど、今月は仕事もあって時間的に余裕がないから無理かなー。
At a convenience store where I usually buy cigarettes recently. Somehow there's usually somebody sitting down like this in front of the convinience store. Is it because the store's lights spill out, making it seem safe?
最近いつもタバコを買っているコンビニの前にて。なぜだかわからないけどこのコンビニの前にはいつも誰かがこんな感じで座っている。お店の灯りが漏れていて安全そうだから？
A taxi stopped just in front of me, but people riding on didn't come out for a while. Of course they were drunk. I thought it was better for them to get out of the taxi sooner, because this is a narrow street here. I could take this photo, because they didn't get out of the taxi for a while, anyway.
タクシーが目の前に止まったんだけど乗っている人がなかなか降りてこない。もちろん酔っ払い。ここは狭い通りだし早く降りればいいのにって・・・。まあなかなか降りてこなかったからこの写真を撮れたんだけどね。
As soon as I arrived at the parking lot just before to go back home, I noticed the beautiful reflection of brake lights on the wall of a building across, so I took a photo of it. It had been a while to visit Kabukicho on Sunday night.

駐車場に戻ってきて帰りがけ、向こうのビルの壁に反射するブレーキランプの赤がすごい綺麗に見えたから撮ってみた。日曜の夜の歌舞伎町は何気に久しぶりだったな。
