One day＠Kabukicho #DAY165 - Summer has come.
The hot days are going on. This year, the rainy season had ended when I realized. Even after the rainy season ended, sudden localized heavy rains or frequent lightning strikes occurs. According to some members of our team, our HQ experienced a temporary power outage due to lightning few days ago.
暑い日々が続いている。今年は気付いたら梅雨が終わっていた。ただ梅雨が明けてもいきなり局地的な大雨が来たり、雷が落ちまくったり。うちの本社は先日、雷で一時停電していたらしい。
Well, last summer was really eventful. I don't feel like writing about it now as I look back, but well, that's how it goes. It's been a year since then. Honestly, I'm not sure if that year felt long or short.
まあ去年の夏はホントにいろいろあった。今改めて振り返って何かを書く気分にはなれないけど、まあそういうことだ。あれから一年経ったのかぁ・・・って、その一年が長かったのか短かったのかすら正直よくわかんないや。
I realized while writing this article that it also seems to be about a year ago as well that I was captured on camera by a TV station. When I checked the YouTube video in last year's article with the banner, the video was still available. Even though I'm usually the one taking photos, it's kind of embarrassing when suddenly I'm the one being taken.
この記事書いていて気付いたんだけど、自分が歌舞伎町でテレビ局のカメラに撮られていたのもちょうど一年位前のことだったんだな。バナー貼った去年の記事内の YouTube 見たら、まだ動画消えていなかった。普段は写真を撮っている側なのに、ふいにこう撮られちゃうとなんか恥ずかしいよな。
Looking back, I realized that I've always been the one who take photos ever since I was in university. I never really take selfies or anything like that neither. Recently, whenever I go on a family trip, my nephew takes photos of me, so occasionally I get to see photos of myself.
思い返してみた。そもそも自分は大学生くらいの頃からずーっとカメラで撮る側の人だったんだ。セルフィーみたいなこともしないし。最近は家族旅行に行くと甥っ子が撮ってくれるから、たまーに自分が写った写真も見ることがあるけど。
However, fortunately(?), the president of our company who run the company with me together happens to love photography too. Because of that, occasionally he takes some photos of me. For instance, one day, on the way back from a meeting outside together, he took a photo of me with my car at a parking lot.
ただ幸いなこと（？）に一緒に会社をやっているうちの代表がこれまた写真好きでして。それもあってその代表が写真を撮ってくれることはたまーにある。一緒に外に打ち合わせに行った帰りに駐車場で当時の自分の車と一緒の写真を撮ってくれたり。

ここよく通るけど綺麗。この記事の時に行ったバーのすぐお隣の別のバー。
The police officers suddenly ran towards a young man and began questioning him. I was looking through the viewfinder, and I thought the police officers were coming towards me, but it turned out they were questioning a young man who was there after passing by me. I was standing behind and overheard a conversation saying, "This is already the third time today, please spare me." Does it happen to be questioned by police so much in a single day?? And then the police officers clearly spotted the young man and hurried towards him. I wonder if he did something in the past.
警察官がいきなり青年の方に向かって小走りで向かったかと思うと職質。というかファインダーを覗いていたらこっちに警察官が向かってきた？と思ったんだけど、自分を通り過ぎたかと思うとそこにいた青年に職質。後ろにいて会話が聞こえてきたんだけど『今日もう3回目っすよ、勘弁してくださいよー』って。一日でそんなに職質されるのか？？そして明らかに青年を発見して小走りで向かった警察官たち。過去になんかあったのかな。
Nothing special happens, even if they hang around like this next to the police checkup.
そんな職質現場の横にこんなふうにたむろっていても特に何かが起きるわけではない。
The bar's shutters or anything like that aren't closed, but alcohol and cigarettes are left on the counter along the street. What happened here too??
店のシャッターが閉じられているわけでもなく、通り沿いのカウンターに酒やタバコが放置された店。ここもここで何が起きたんだ？？
Street snap itself may be like that, but I just take photos of whatever I want to take, so there's no consistency in what I take.
ストリートスナップってそういうものなのかもしれないけど、撮りたいと思ったものを手当たり次第撮っているから、撮っているものに一貫性がない。
So, summer is hot. It must be. I'm thinking about trying a little adventure this summer. Various things are changing. However, it's not bad things change. For now, I'd like to try to enjoy this summer.

さて、夏は暑い。そりゃそうだ。今年の夏は少しだけ冒険をしてみようかなーとか思ってみたり。いろいろなことが変わっていく。ただ変わっていくのも悪いことじゃない。とりあえずはそんな夏を楽しんでみようかな。
