One day at Kabukicho #DAY120 - The city after the Christmas has passed, nuisance guys of the city.

The Christmas of this year that I spent having cake with my friend. It has been a few days since then and an atmosphere of the Christmas has completely faded away from the city. And from now on, the city dives into the tumultuous atmosphere of the year-end and New Year.

The touts of the hosts, who had disappeared when I visited last time, were back in the city as if nothing had happened. I think it's not a big deal to call out to people in front of their host clubs, but it's super bothersome to walk alongside girls and call out to them, you get it? And the girls being approached completely ignores them from the beginning. It makes me feel really uncomfortable to see.

Drunk guys who're dizzy right in the middle of an intersection on Ward Office Street, not to realize the state of a traffic signal. No... it's fine, but I guess taxi drivers and so on possibly get quite irritated.

Continuation about the topic of touts. I'm not saying or don't mean to say that all the touts in this city should be regulated. Most of touts (especially those who approach me) may ask "Are you looking for somewhere to drink?" or something like that, but if once I tell them "No thanks", they usually don't continue asking me further. Even though it's strictly illigal, I consider it's still within the acceptable range.

But if I can say my personal opinion to be honest, All the touts who walk alongside for more than 5 meters for instance should be cracked down. Simply, those guys never think anything what customers would like to, but only care of themselves and money. That's not anything called business. We call them just a nuisance.

According to several reports, various self-regulations by host clubs will be implemented in Kabukicho next year, but I'm not sure how much it'll get improved in reality. Personally I'm welcome the self-regulations of themselves, I also feel that the issue of too aggressive solicitation by touts is unlikely to be resolved anytime soon.

The last shot of this time is a person sitting down under one of small number of lights in a dark parking lot. I stopped by several times on the way because it was the parking lot where I parked my car, and he were always there. Well, I wonder how many more times I'll go to Kabukicho before the end of the year. Probably just one more time.

See you then.
