One day at Kabukicho #DAY137 - I want a tiny thrill, but I don't want excessive thrills.
I dare to go to the city called Kabukicho, so I think it means I want a tiny thrill. However, I have absolutely no intention to step into a dangerous world just because of that. But sometimes... Yes, I get caught up in various things a little bit...
あえて歌舞伎町って街に行くんだからちょっとしたスリルはどこかで求めているんだと思う。だからと言って危ない世界に足を突っ込む気はこれっぽっちもない。ただちょっといろいろなことに巻き込まれることは・・・たまにある。
When I get caught up in something complicated, the other party is almost certainly drunk so much. Logic never works. Acutally everyone who's not drunk doesn't make me get involved in something troublesome.
なにかややこしいことに巻き込まれる時、相手はほぼ確実に酔っ払い。理屈なんて一切通じない。そして酔っ払っていない相手になにかめんどうなことに巻き込まれることってむしろほぼない。
However, though I don't welcome to get approached by someone drunk at all, I would welcome in case of someone just asking me "Please take a picture!", even if they're drunk. So, maybe because everyone is drunk, there are often some opportunities to get approached like that when I'm taking photos in this city for a long time.
ただし同じ酔っ払いに絡まれるでも、『写真撮ってくださ〜い！』ってのは全然歓迎。で、みんな酔っ払っているからなのか、結構この街でずっと写真を撮っているとそんな感じで声をかけられることも多い。
I'm always surprised when someone talks to me out of the blue. It's not like I'm always ready to be approached by someone and it always comes suddenly.
声をかけられた瞬間はびっくりするけどね。声をかけられるって常に構えて待っているわけじゃなくていつも突然だから。
It's completely unrelated to what I've written so far, but I recently realized that thanks to taking various photos regularly, I can manage to find a photo in my stock when I need one without having to search for free materials. I have a photo shoot set-up at home for still life photography in addition, so as long as I have the object, I can take photos anytime. Just like this.
全然ここまでの話と関係ないんだけど、普段からいろんな写真を撮っているおかげでフリー素材とか探さなくてもなにか写真が必要な時に結構手元のストックでなんとかなっているんだよなってことに最近気づいた。物撮り系の写真も自宅に撮影セットは一応あるからブツ自体さえあればいつでも撮れるしね。こんな感じ に。
I feel like I have taken a photo like this before. And I guess it was right here. I guess I just like taking photos like this, anyway.
なーんか前にもこんな写真撮った気がする。ここで。まあこんな感じのを撮るのがただ好きなだけなんだろうな。
I usually go to Kabukicho on weekends, but this weekend I have a different plan so I won't be going. However, I'm sure I will still take photos there as usual, and I'm looking forward to taking photos that I don't usually get the chance to take.

普段は週末はどこかの日程でだいたい歌舞伎町に行っているんだけど、今週末はちょっと別に予定があるので行かない予定。ただその別の予定でもここに載せられるかどうかは別としてきっと普通に写真は撮っていると思うし、普段撮れないような写真が撮れるとも思うから楽しみだな。
