One day@Kabukicho #DAY167 - I feel dizzy for some reason, maybe because walking in the heat.
It was hot this summer as well. I wonder if the hottest time has already passed? I didn't mention in the previous article, but actually when I was taking photos last time, I got feeling a bit dizzy, maybe because it was too hot or for some other reason. I took a short break in the smoking area to rest.
Sometimes I felt dizzy this time as well when walking. Maybe I'm just tired after all. Especially when shooting like this, looking up. There is a vending machine here, so I bought a canned juice from there and rested while drinking it. I don't do that in cold season, but it's nice to take a break and shoot like this in this hot season.
This is a shop that had been in ruins, which I found when I was walking on the other day. The portion facing a street was completely covered with plywood or something, and on that plywood, it was written "Administrator" in this way. Though this place is facing a larger street, it's not in the best area in terms of safety, so I was a little scared.
Walking along the ward office street a little bit. I wish I could've more fun taking photos on the ward office street as well, but I don't have a lot of ideas yet on how to make it more enjoyable.
This city is often expressed like "the city that never sleeps, Kabukicho, Shinuku", but I sometimes think that this expression might be a little off. At night, the city is definitely crowded with people and has a brilliant but also decadent atmosphere at the same time. However, in contrast, during the daytime, those glamorous parts of the city seem to be asleep.
Areas filled with particularly glamorous shops and bars are quiet during the daytime. In Kabukicho, it's probably only the area from Shinjuku Station to just before the TOHO Building where we can say that it's still lively during the daytime. Well, around the TOHO Building during the day there are wholesome people, but at night there're people who're not so much. So only that area can be called "the city that never sleeps".
I wrote that, but in fact, I haven't been to this city during the daytime for over a year, for a long time. Well, I don't have any reason to come to this city during the daytime. In the past, I used to occasionally come during the daytime and take photos.
Even when the backlight enters my eyes, I still feel dizzy. And because of the dizzy, my vision becomes blurry and I can't really focus well anymore. If I could really focus properly, maybe I should've focused, but I just shot with my feeling like "It's okay". Well, my friend who always gets along with me and I have a little trouble with our schedules, so it will be a while later I go to Kabukicho next time.
See you then.
