One day at Kabukicho #DAY112 - Recently I've been addicted to going to watch movies late at night.

Actually I had made plans with my friend to go watch a movie on Friday night, but I couldn't make it due to some circumstances, so we went on Saturday night instead. The movie we went to watch is "Tonde Saitama ~ With Love from Lake Biwa ~" which I had watched the first movie in the series earlier and had been ready for. We went to the late-night screening in Shinjuku Wald 9 this time as well.

I came to where the abandoned hotel was this time as well. I thought the demolition had finished a few days ago, but it seems like preparations for the next construction have started, I guess?

At the TOHO building, there were billboards of two movies I watched this month, "Godzilla -1.0" and "Tonde Saitama" were hanging side by side, so I took a photo like a commemorative photo. By the way, I didn't watch either of them at TOHO Cinemas, I watched them at Wald 9. "Tonde Saitama" had a clever touch with a message like "To everyone visiting Shinjuku, sorry for talking about Saitama."

By the way, I usually arrange photos in a somewhat chronological order, but the timeline is quite quite jumbled this time, don't mind it.

Lately, they do street tequila promotions here all the time.

A so-called "TŌYOKO" just before midnight.

After watching the movie, we went back to Kabukicho and went to Ichiran early morning. Even though it was around 4:30 in the morning, there was already a small queue, which makes me think that Ichiran in Kabukicho is crazy. And after leaving Ichiran, somehow I took a photo of Tenkaippin which is another ramen restaurant.

Before watching the movie, I was like "I'm gonna take photos!" and I took photos with enthusiasm. But on the way back, it was more relaxed, it was like that I was just taking a walk around with a camera in hand and took shots whenever something caught my eyes.

It's still dark even at 5 in morning because it's winter season, so it's hard to see, but it's "TŌYOKO" welcoming a morning, in almost the same location as the previous photo. Personally, I've never found this side to be comfortable, so it's usually just a place I pass through when walking. The opposite side of "TŌYOKO" is still fine though.

Just before heading back home in the early morning, there was a group having fun on a street, so I took a shot. Even just the silhouette looks like they're having a good time. It seems that I'm gonna be busy the next week, but I think I'm gonna go to Kabukicho again.

See you then.
