One day at Kabukicho #DAY121 - The city that the end of the year 2023 is coming.
It became 2024. So, I took a photo of a banner that says "2024" for the first photo of this article, but the actual day I took the photo (the day of this article) is still the end of 2023. Sorry for the confusion. So it's the atmosphere of Kabukicho at the end of the year this time.
2024年になった。そんなわけで1枚目の写真、2024ってバナーを撮ったんだけど、実際に撮影している日（今回の記事の日）は一応まだ2023年の年末っす。紛らわしくてゴメンなさい。ってことは今回は年末の歌舞伎町の様子っす。
Recently the number of shops that are closed during the end of year and New Year holidays has been increasing, and personally I think that's a really good thing. I know that railways or something like infrastructure companies are unable to stop thier business even if it's New Year holidays or days like those, but shops that can be closed with no problem, should be closed during the end of year and New Year holidays at least, I guess. Back when I was a student and working at a pizza shop, I strongly felt that way even while me were open on New Year's Day.
最近はちゃんとこうやって年末年始に休む店が増えてきて、個人的にはそれってすごいいいことだよなぁって思っている。鉄道とかインフラ系の仕事はともかく、やっぱり休める仕事なら年末年始くらい休むべきだよなーって。学生時代、ピザ屋さんやってた時に元旦営業しながらすごくそう思っていたし。
My work of this year came to the end on this day and the other people's ones seem to be same. Maybe that's why, it was the most crowded day of the year that I saw this year.
この日は自分も仕事納めだったんだけど世間もそんな感じ。そんな日だったせいもあってか、この年に自分が見てきた中でこの年一番人出の多い日だった。
I wonder this scene is peaceful in a way? Just being able to take this photo makes me feel like I've got a great achievement of this day. Have a happy new year.

I was a bit busy personally during the year-end and New Year holidays, so it took a little time from taking photos to writing this article. I'm a bit frustrated that I haven't been able to fully convey the real feeling of this day because of that. Well, just enjoy the atmosphere of this day through photos this time.
年末年始は自分も個人的にバタバタしていたのもあって写真を撮ってからこの記事を書くまでにちょっと時間が空いてしまった。そのせいでこの日のリアルな感覚を伝えきれていないのがちょっともどかしい。まあ今回はとりあえず写真で様子を楽しんでいただく感じで。
I started taking photos in this city in 2022, and I spent the entire year of 2023 taking countless photos in this city. Gratitude to the city and people in the city.
この街で撮り出したのは2022年、そして2023年はまるっと一年、この街で散々写真を撮らせてもらった。街と街の人々にも感謝。
I was constantly so busy with work throughout December, so when I came to this city to take photos, I just shot based on my senses and momentum. Finally, I was liberated from work for the year and all I remember is that I was taking photos just as how I wanted to take.
12月はずーっと仕事で忙殺されていたのもあって、この街に来て写真を撮る時は感覚と勢いだけで撮っていたなぁ。この日もやっと年内の仕事から解放されて・・・すごい勢いで撮っていた記憶だけ残っている。
At the moment I am writing this article, I've already done the first filming in this city of 2024... Anyway, that's it for this time. I have to write an article of the first filming of 2024 soon as well. I'm gonna continue like this, so stay tuned this year as well.
