I'm back from a hospital.
The story of my ill health that I wrote about last month turned out to be more serious than I thought, and I ended up being hospitalized. I wonder how many days I was in the hospital? Maybe about two weeks or so? Well, I'm just glad to have been discharged.
先月書いた体調不良の話が実はちょっと洒落で終わらせることができないことになっていて入院してた。何日くらい入院していたんだろう？二週間弱くらいかなぁ？まあとりあえず退院しました。
The ICU where I was at the first, I spent my time idly because it wasn't allowed to use electric devices, or before I got to be able to spend time idly, I was enduring a sort of intense pain, so it didn't matter, but after moving to a general ward where it's allowed to use electric devices, I started to become bored with nothing to do.
And this time, I ended up being hospitalized without any preparation as it was an emergency hospitalization. So I had my iPhone, but I didn't have AirPods, so I couldn't watch videos and something with audio, or even listen to music.
最初にいた ICU はそもそも電子機器を使っちゃダメだったからぼーっと過ごしていたし、ぼーっと過ごせるようになるまではいろいろと激痛に耐えてたからあんまり関係なかったんだけど、いざ電子機器使用OKの一般病棟に移動すると退屈を持て余すようになってくる。
しかも今回の入院、緊急入院ってことで何の準備もなくうっかり入院してしまった。おかげで iPhone は持っていたんだけど、あいにく AirPods は持っていなかったから動画の類を観れないし音楽も聴けなかった。
The hospital is big and they also have a shop. So all I need to do is to buy earphones at that shop... but now the problem is that the current iPhone doesn't have a earphone jack. Usually, it's normal to have AirPods on hand, so I never really thought about things like this, but in certain special environments like being hospitalized this time, not having a earphone jack can be inconvenient.
So, I was asked what I wanted by my friend who would come to visit me, I reqested USB-C compatible earphones.
病院は大きくて売店もある。だからその売店でイヤフォンを買えばいいだけの話・・・なんだけど、さてはて困ったことに今の iPhone にはイヤフォン端子がない。普段は AirPods が手元にあるのが当たり前だからこんなことを思うことは全くはなかったんだけど、今回の入院みたいな一部の特殊な環境下だとイヤフォン端子がないって不便なこともあるんだな。
そんなわけでお見舞いに来てくれるという友人に欲しいものを聞かれたので USB-C で使えるイヤフォンをリクエストした。
I feel like if I write too much about various things, the article might become too negative, so I'll stop here. But I did learn one very important thing, its earphones are a must-have when we're hospitalized.
Well, I don't really want to be hospitalized either.
あんまりいろんなことを書きすぎるとネガティブな記事になりすぎそうな気がするから、この辺にしておこう。ただとても重要なことをひとつ覚えた。入院する時にイヤフォンは必携ってこと。
まあそうそう入院もしたくないけどね。
