I'm never interested in limited models of Leica. I prefer standard models.

The Leica M-P typ 240 that I usually use.

Leica sometimes releases limited models with high price tag. I love Leica. But I'm never interested in those limited models.

Leica itself is just a tool to photograph. Of course I agree with that it'll be better to use favorite cameras. I do understand that. If the limited models are on catalog not as limited models, as color options or something, it could be a choices, I guess. However, limited models are too expensive. Photos which can be taken are same to the base models.

If you just want to photograph using leica, limited models doesn't make any sense. So I understand as the limited models are for collectors, or people who mind a sort of property value. Is this understanding of mine wrong?

At least, leica is a camera. So it'll make no sense unless you photograph

By the way, Leica M-P typ 240 I have is a black paint model.

History of black paint models of leica is pretty interesting. The era of Leica M3 and M2, black paint models used to be a sort of limited models. You'll understand if checking price on auctions.

But Leica M-P typ 240 black paint was not a sort of special model, it was a model that's on catalog and black paint or silver chrome was there as a color option. So I chose the black paint one, that's all.

As you know, I have a lot of things to talk about cameras though, I'm going to try writing them as articles in various ways. So see you then.
