One day at Kabukicho #DAY16 - I dare to try using RX100III as a primary camera.
On this night, I put my Leica M-P to my bag as usual, but actually I had decided trying to test RX100III as a primary camera for testing, instead of usual primary camera, Leica M-P. So, all of today's photos are taken with my RX100III.
この夜はいつも通りカバンに Leica M-P は入れてたんだけど、実は RX100III をいつもの Leica M-P の代わりにテスト的にメインとして撮ってみようって決めてた。そんなわけで今日の写真は全部 RX100III で撮ったもの。
I just wanted to take a blue sign of hotel called "Toyoko Inn" reflected on a window of a building.
ビルの窓に反射する東横インの青い看板をただ撮りたかっただけ。
A few days ago, there was a mysterious easel here. But it's gone leaving a bag instead somehow.
数日前にはここに謎のイーゼルがあった。けどなぜか代わりにカバンを残してなくなっていて・・・。
A few hours later, I found that easel another place here. This is where it takes 3 minutes walk from where this originally was. Who moved? Whose one after all? It never happens that this easel moves by itself. There's only a lot of mystery remains.
数時間後、そのイーゼルを別の場所で発見。もともとあった場所から徒歩3分くらいの場所。誰が動かしたんだ？というか誰の？イーゼルが勝手に動くわけがない。謎だけが残る・・・。
A few days ago, there was no signs or yellow fence. This photo is the evidence.
Both are photos taken at the same place. a lot of things always changes. So does the easel.
数日前、看板も黄色い柵もなかった。この写真がその証拠。どっちも同じ場所で撮った写真。いろんなことが常に変わっていく。イーゼルもそうだし。
I was forced to think a lot of things by moving easel, the scenery changes just in a few days and so on. So, how about the photo like this with thinking nothing difficult, hah?
イーゼルが動いてたり景色がちょっと前と違ってたりといろいろ考えさせられたけど・・・難しいこと抜きでこんな感じの写真はどうだろ？
A trace someone did hard.
誰かが頑張った跡。
And a trace someone tried to get warm.
そして誰かが温まろうとした跡。
I hope you to estimate they used the ashtray properly, not to throw away cigarette stub. It's not good idea to notice it's prohibited smoking on street at this point.
そして誰かがタバコを吸った跡。ポイ捨てしないでちゃんと灰皿使っている。ここで路上喫煙禁止とか考えちゃダメだ。

One thing I could confirm, is that I could take photos I like even with the RX100III and that's what I wanted to confirm. More specifically, I could create a story with only photos taken by RX100III. Because I've created stories mainly with my Leica M-P, I was personally worried that if I would be able to create story with other cameras.

ひとつ確認できたのは RX100III でも好きなように写真が撮れたってことで、それが確認したかった。もっというと、RX100III で撮った写真だけでちゃんとストーリーを作れたってこと。今までは Leica M-P をメインにストーリーを作っていたから、他のカメラでもストーリーを作れるかって個人的にちょっと不安だったから。
