Signing an advisory contract with a tax accountant made my taxes and accounting much easier.
It's been almost a year since I started my current company. During the first fiscal year, I handled all the accounting and tax work myself. One of the more annoying tasks was preparing the monthly withholding tax payment data through e-Tax. Our fiscal year ends in December, and I had absolutely no confidence in handling the closing process on my own, so I decided to hire a tax accountant. I also ended up signing an advisory contract with them.
今の会社を作ってもうすぐ一年。一期目は会計も税務処理なんかも自分でやっていた。結構面倒なのは毎月の源泉徴収分の納付用データを e-Tax で作ることだったりした。で、うちの会社は12月末が決算。さすがに決算まで自力でやる自信は全くなかったので、税理士さんに依頼することにした。そしてその税理士さんと顧問契約もしてみた。
My company doesn't generate that many expenses, so I still handle the bookkeeping myself. I didn't feel the need to ask them to do the data entry as well. That said, they do review what I've entered, and sometimes they change the account categories to make things more tax-efficient. Honestly, tax and accounting aren't really things I can fully master just by studying enough to manage my own company. In the end, it really is best to leave it to the professionals.
うちの会社はそんなに経費が発生しまくったりするわけでもないから、帳簿の記入は相変わらず自分でやっている。わざわざ入力までお願いする必要はないかなーって。ただ入力した内容はチェックしてくれているので、場合によっては勘定科目を変えて税務的に有利にしてくれたり・・・正直、税務とか会計なんて自分の会社のそれらを回すためだけに自分で勉強してどうにかなるようなもんじゃないし、まあ餅は餅屋なんだろうな。
So after signing an advisory contract with the tax accountant, they now take full responsibility for the company's tax matters, which has made things feel much easier for me mentally. During the first year, I wanted to keep fixed costs as low as possible, so I didn't sign a contract. But once I started seeing the numbers more clearly, I began to feel that having one was definitely the better choice.
Work? Thankfully, things are going pretty well.
ということで税理士さんと顧問契約したら、うちの会社の税務に関しては完全に責任を持ってくれているので、心情的にめちゃくちゃ楽になった。一期目はできるだけ固定費を抑えたかったから契約していなかったけど、いろんな数字が見えてきて、これは契約した方がいいなって感じるようになったのもある。
仕事？ありがたいことに仕事はそれなりに順調っす。
