One day at Kabukicho #DAY83 - There seems to have been a foul odor incident near Kabukicho.
After I leisurely took a sauna, I went to Ichiran as I'd wished for a long time. Despite some crowd, I had time and I really wanted to have ramen this day, so I got into a line. I waited about 20 minutes in the end. But the long-awaited Ichiran, especially the rich tast ramen after sweating in the sauna, was incredibly delicious.
この日はゆっくりとサウナに入った後に念願の一蘭へ。それなりに混んではいたけど、この日は時間の余裕もあったしずっと食べたかったし並ぶことに。結局20分くらい待ったのかな？でも念願の一蘭、しかもサウナで汗を流した後の濃い味コッテリなラーメンは最高においしかった。
On the last article, I briefly mentioned a story about some old digital cameras I found when I tidied up my room. One of them is the first generation digital PEN from OLYMPUS, the E-P1. After charging it, it actually started working fine. I've thought it might be nice to try using it with a Summaron 35mm from Leitz. I experiment with it indoors for now, not taking it outside just yet.
前回の記事の最後にちょっと書いた、部屋の整理をしていたら出てきた古いデジカメの話。オリンパスの初代のデジタルの PEN、E-P1 なんだけど、とりあえず充電したら無事動いた。ライツの Summaron 35mm とか付けて使ってみるのもいいかもって思ったりしつつ、今はまだ外に出さずに家でちょこちょこと使ってみている。

I took this photo because a word "極楽" on the center of the photo caught my eyes. By the way, "極楽" simply means paradise, but it also has more religious connotations.
なんか『極楽』っていうのがすごい目に入って撮った。
I keep taking photos of things that catch my eyes, but sometimes I struggle with how to frame them just right. This photo is absolutely the one of them. But it's not bad.
目に入って気になったものを撮り続けているんだけど、どうやって写真に切り抜いたらいいのか頭を悩ませることもある。この写真なんかはまさにそういう一枚。でも悪くない。
It seems like I haven't taken this kind of photos lately.
最近あんまりこういうの撮ってなかったよね。
By the way, on this day, when I was taking photos like this, there was apparently a foul odor incident very close to Kabukicho, around way to Shinjuku Station. I found out about it on TV that I was watching in the sauna.
ちなみにこの日、自分がこんな感じで写真を撮っていたすぐ近くの歌舞伎町を出て新宿駅に行く辺りで異臭騒ぎがあったらしいのはサウナで見ていたテレビで知った。
I haven't been out to areas like 2nd block of Kabukicho or Okubo recently for photography. I wonder to go to those areas and walking around again soon. Exploring those areas with the methods how I take photos lately could bring a new level of enjoyment.

最近歌舞伎町2丁目方面とか大久保の方とか撮りに行っていないなぁ。近いうちにまたそっち方面にも足を伸ばしてみようかな。最近のよくやっている撮り方でそっちの方を撮影してみるのもまた楽しいかもしれないし。
