A new notebook, I tried to switch from Moleskine I've used for a long time to LEUCHTTURM.
I wrote a little bit about my notebook a while back. It's called the fancy-sounding term "notebook", but it's used mostly just a notepad in reality. I recently finished using a notebook that I had been using since around spring of this year. What I use is Moleskine and I think I use about two notebooks a year for the past few years.
ちょっと前に少しだけ手帳の話を書いた。『手帳』だなんてなんだか大層な呼ばれようをしているけど、実際のところはほとんどただのメモ帳みたいなもの。そんな手帳、今年の春くらいから使っていた一冊が最近終わった。何を使っているかっていうとモレスキンなんだけど、たぶんここ数年は年間で2冊くらい使っていると思う。
I remember starting to use Moleskine when I was a college student. It wasn't cheap even back then, but I immediately liked it when I started using it, and I was using Moleskine except some periods I was using an organizer.
Basically, I didn't have any complaints about the Moleskine notebooks, but occasionally I encounter a notebook that the ink bleed through a sheet of paper. It was a bit stressful to encounder this kind of individual.
モレスキンを使い出したのは大学生だった頃だったことは覚えている。当時から安いモノではなかったけど、なんか使い出してすぐに気に入ってしまって、それ以来システム手帳を使っていた時期以外はモレスキンを使っていた。
基本的にはそんなモレスキンに文句はなかったんだけど、万年筆のインクが裏抜けする個体と遭遇することがたまにある。こういう個体に遭遇するのがちょっとストレスだった。
I was troubled by that, but I have been using it for a long time and I thought it also would be troublesome to look for another notebook.
Then one day, I happened to learn about LEUCHTTURM.
The size, usability, and paper quality are all almost the same as the pocket size of Moleskine. The height may be slightly higher in LEUCHTTURM. As for the quality of the paper, there's limited information available as a source, so it cannot be taken at face value, but there're some comparison articles with Moleskine, and it's said that the bleed-through issue that occurs with some individual Moleskine notebooks does not happen with LEUCHTTURM.
そんなことに困ってはいたんだけど、もう長いこと使い続けているし、別の手帳を探すのも面倒だしって思っていたんだ。
そんな時にたまたまロイヒトトゥルムを知った。
サイズも使い勝手も紙質も、どれもがほぼモレスキンのポケットサイズと一緒だった。高さがちょっとだけロイヒトトゥルムの方が高いのかな。そして問題の紙の品質、これはあくまでも一部のネット情報しかソースがないからそのまま鵜呑みにはできないんだけど、中にはモレスキンとの比較記事とかもあって、先述したようなモレスキンでは個体によって起きるような裏抜けがロイヒトトゥルムでは起きないらしい。
For now, I am using the first one ever of LEUCHTTURM. I bought it as the next notebook after finishing using my Moleskine that I'd been using. It's been about a week since I started using it, but I have absolutely no complaints. I don't really see any difference between it and Moleskine, except that the ink doesn't bleed through.
I hope this will become a reliable option as I continue to use it for many more LEUCHTTURM notebooks in the future, but if the issue of bleed-through does not occur, it seems like it will become my favorite notebook.
とりあえず今使っている個体は一冊目のロイヒトトゥルム。最近使い切ったモレスキンの次の手帳として買った。使い出して一週間くらい経ったけど、全く文句はない。インクが裏抜けしない以外、モレスキンとの違いもよくわからない。
これは今後何冊も使っていく中で確証になってくれればいいんだけど、もしホントにインクの裏抜け問題が発生しないなら、これは好きな手帳になってくれそうだ。
