This photo is an example, but I've recently become able to do quick shot. I don't worry about whether the focus is strictly accurate. It's much better to just take the photo, even if it's a little out of focus, than to not take it at all when I want to take it. This may be a feeling that is not easily experienced in an era dominated by autofocus.

この写真なんかがそうなんだけど、最近速写ができるようになってきた。厳密にピントが合っているかとかは気にしない。ちょっとピントがずれている写真でも、撮りたいと思ったのに撮らないより、とりあえず撮っちゃえる方が全然いい。これはオートフォーカス全盛の時代ではなかなか感じる機会もないような感覚なのかもしれないなぁ。
